At ESSENTIALLY SOAPS our aim is to teach people that it is not necessary to have Chemicals, Petroleum based ingredients, Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Animal fats, artificial fragrances or colours in any skin & hair care products or Aluminium & other nasty ingredients in deodorants.

We are a small family business based in Wadhurst, East Sussex. I make all the products in my soap kitchen which was designed & built by my husband. We use only the finest exotic butters, oils, herbs, flowers, clays spices, fruits, ESSENTIAL OILS & other natural ingredients + a little TLC. Our Soaps are HAND CRAFTED, in our specially designed craft kitchen, the traditional way which means they retain all the natural glycerin moisturiser (Which commercial soap companies remove). They are then left to cure for a minimum of 6 weeks. As our soaps are made in small batches there will always be variations on the colour & swirls. 

We make all our body butters, balms, creams, salves & serums in small batches so they reach you as fresh as possible & we can make many products to order. So please contact us if you do not see what you are looking for, as we are always making new products.

Our NATURAL ALUMINUM FREE DEODORANTS do not contain any aluminum or other unnecessary chemicals but instead we use deo- crystal stone powder aloe vera & essential oils. All our products have been sent for safety assessment at a scientific laboratory and carry a safety assessment certificate & comply with EU regulations. We do not use any products that have been tested on animals.

We do not go in for fancy, expensive & unnecessary packaging.  Our soaps now come wrapped in Eco Friendly recycled Kraft bags or boxes. We also try to recycle as much postal packing as possible.

If you would like any item gift wrapped & posted to a recipient of your choice with a gift card & message, we can arrange that. Are you looking for something different to give as favours on your wedding day? Then why not give us a call and discuss what you would like. We can make up a unique soap, bath salts tea bags, bath melts or anything else that you feel says thank you to that special person on your special day presented in an organza bag or wedding favor boxes.

                                             

We also make gift baskets or tote bags up to order just ring or email us with the items you would like added & we will make up it up for you with a gift tag.
